Kicking Horse Culture’s 9th Annual Snow King’s MasqueParade Event

Golden, BC. Kicking Horse Culture‘s annual Snow King’s MasqueParade is a family-friendly community event that never fails to impress. This year’s theme was Snow King’s Excellent Space Adventure featuring an alien fashion show and a host of silly creatures from outer space.

With mild temperatures and clear skies, young and old gathered in droves in Golden’s Spirit Square for this Valentine’s night event to bid farewell to the Snow King and welcome in Lady Spring. The event included a wide range of performances including unicycles, juggling, hula hooping, fireworks, stilt-walking, singing, lantern lighting, a huge alien moose, and of course, the impressive Snow King and Lady Spring.
